Continuous Plankton Recorder (CPR) Workshop
CINAR Investigator: Rubao Ji, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution
Key objectives of the 2025 CPR Workshop were to:
- Broaden CPR Data Use: Engage new and experienced researchers in collaborative learning with CPR data.
- Build Skills and Knowledge: Offer training to develop analytical skills and explore current research.
- Inspire Innovation: Engage students, early-career researchers, and those new to CPR or from disciplines beyond marine ecology, fostering diverse perspectives and fresh ideas.
Here is an outline of the 3-day agenda:
Day 1: Introduction; CPR data access and processing; Hands-on exercises.
Day 2: Case studies to demonstrate the scientific applications of CPR data.
Day 3: Discussion of future activities to expand the CPR data use
